With great challenges and opportunities, Woodstock is one of the most dynamic areas in Cape Town.
Join us for a Talking Streets walk that will continue the discussion around holding Open Streets in Woodstock, and the long term potential for changing the way the street is used. This is also an opportunity to see how the area is affected by; both long term developments as well as particular events like the Cape Town Marathon, which will see the street being used differently on that particular day.
We are excited to have Councillor Garreth Bloor (Mayoral Committee Member for Tourism, Events & Marketing) joining us for Talking Streets as we continue to develop the vision for Open Streets with the City of Cape Town.
As we compile the findings of these walks, we will build a better understanding of the challenges faced in different parts of the city. Our aim is to disseminate this information widely, to create greater awareness of how streets can better serve residents and businesses, and to encourage the participation of all who use our streets.
So please join us in an exercise of active learning and an exchange of knowledge and feel free to distribute this widely. If you, or others you know, can't make this event but would like to stay informed of future events and news, please let us know and we will add you to our mailing list.
