We invite you to join the mobility conversation in Cape Town, by taking part in a facilitated walk-and-talk at Open Streets City Centre, which will see Bree Street temporarily transformed into a car-free public space. This Talking Streets walk is an opportunity to experience more of an Open Streets Day; to explore the street environment and share observations with fellow street enthusiasts. The discussion will focus on cycling lanes and the culture and behaviour between different street users.
Our current Talking Streets series aims to gather information about how people are using streets, and what the opportunities are for shifting to lower carbon transport choices in our transport behaviour. We are exploring topics around mobility and access, and the opportunities and challenges we experience in different street environments around Cape Town.
Join the conversation as we walk-and-talk our way to understanding some of the mobility challenges in the CBD, and hopefully identifying solutions. We will be joined by a guest speaker, and the walk will include activities to spark imagination and conversation. Space is limited and more specific information will be provided closer to the time.
Please RSVP here by Friday 18 January 2019
