To make TOD a success at the street level there needs to be a coordinated approach between a range of stakeholders. Those who plan for and design TOD need to be informed by the needs of both public and private players to give shape to an urban domain that performs positively for a range of people.
To continue the discussion from the Street Minds' TOD night, we would like to invite you to join us for the next Talking Streets walk. Jody Paterson, Urban Designer at NM&Associates, will be guiding this investigation. It will consider the implications of TOD on street design using Claremont CBD as a case study. From this, we hope to contribute some considerations for the design of TOD around our city.
This Talking Streets would appeal both to those interested in the thinking that goes into street design as well as practitioners who would like to see and discuss the nuances and practicalities of designing for TOD.
