Living in an urban multicultural environment is to live in community with people. It is to live in diversity. We need to honour that. It is important for us be able express ourselves and be heard. It is equally important to listen, learn and contribute with an open heart. To do so face to face (not just through social media) is where it is at for me. Open Streets, through re-inventing space, offers us an opportunity to 'get out there'? to authentically engage and purposefully share in the wonders of humanity.
